Review an AI advertisement as a sequence of connected shots. A character, product or room can look convincing in one frame and change during the next movement. Use approved references and a shot-by-shot review record so feedback identifies the visible defect and the required correction.

Agree what must remain consistent

For the character, identify the approved appearance, wardrobe and props. For the product, record proportions, brand marks, controls, materials and the state shown in each action. For the scene, identify the position of important objects and the direction of light or movement. A deliberate story change should be marked in the script rather than mistaken for a continuity error.

Use actual product photographs and approved artwork where available. Keep reference versions identifiable. If the team changes the packaging during production, decide which version belongs in the final film before reviewing individual shots.

Inspect movement and the joins between shots

Watch at normal speed, then step through moments where hands touch the object, the product rotates or a face changes angle. Check both sides of an edit. A ring, connector or handle may disappear between shots even when neither shot looks obviously wrong on its own.

Record the timecode, expected detail, observed defect and proposed action. Separate product or claim errors from minor visual polish. A wrong control label may need replacement; a small background inconsistency may be acceptable if it does not change the message and the creative reviewer approves it.

Choose the correction that preserves the explanation

Options include regenerating the affected shot, repairing a frame, shortening a transition or replacing the scene with real footage. Review the revised sequence again because fixing one detail can introduce another. Keep the approved version and the defect record together for delivery.

Review questions

Do Content Credentials prove that a product is accurate?

No. C2PA describes provenance information. Product accuracy still needs comparison with the approved product evidence.

Is one clean frame enough?

No. Inspect the complete action and adjacent shots, including the final crop.

Must every inconsistency be regenerated?

No. Choose a correction that preserves the intended meaning and passes the agreed visual and product review.
