An Ad Network delivery should give the media team files they can check against the intended placement. Start from the requirements available in the actual TikTok Ads account and its linked guidance. Keep the master separate from exports and record which placement each file is meant to serve.
Build the export list before delivery
List orientation, dimensions, duration, file format and destination for each accepted version. TikTok's Pangle asset specification is a useful reference for the supported placement; it should not be treated as a specification for every TikTok creative product.
Check the finished file rather than its filename. Watch the beginning and ending, review captions with sound muted and inspect the product at the actual crop. Keep important labels and actions readable when the video is displayed at a smaller size.
Review thumbnails and the first visible frame
Select a thumbnail that represents the demonstrated product and action. Compare it with the opening frame and accompanying copy. If the placement generates a thumbnail or other element automatically, review what the receiving account shows before approving the delivery.
A visually strong thumbnail can still misrepresent an optional accessory or an untested benefit. Use the approved product wording and reference sample when checking it. Save the selected version beside the corresponding video export.
Check the closing action and destination
Review any supplied or automatically assembled end-card behaviour in the relevant preview. Confirm the brand, button text, destination page and product variant. Test the destination on a phone so a usable advertisement does not lead to an unrelated language, missing product or unclear next step.
Keep editable closing graphics available where included in scope. A later change to an offer should be traceable to every affected placement and export rather than handled by replacing an unidentified master file.
Deliver a record the receiving team can use
- Approved master and labelled placement exports.
- Thumbnail and caption versions associated with each export.
- Destination and offer version checked during review.
- Known placement-specific limitations or unresolved questions.
- Owner for updates and the planned end of use.
Acceptance confirms that the agreed files and preview passed review. It does not prove campaign performance or guarantee eligibility. See ONCE's ecommerce video production, or share the placements and export requirements.
